Click on the  RESOURCES link on the top menu option.

 

Choose STATE LINKS.

 

Scroll down or Search and click on the state you will be searching.

 

Locate the search icon or a box and enter 'unclaimed'.

 

Find the link that takes you to Unclaimed property search.

 

Enter your or someone you know and their Last and First name. You can try maiden name as well. It may take 1 to 5 years before any funds are listed on the state website in case if you are looking for something recent.

 

If you find the names with other details that seem relevant, note down the property id. Remember there could be hundreds with the same first and last name, living/lived in the same city/zip that have done business that same company/agency.

 

Repeat above steps someone else you know.

Choose REFER-A-FRIEND option under MEMBERS section. (You must be a registered member logged in to website)

Enter your details along with friend's property id and click Submit.

​

You will receive a confirmation email along with a link to your referral.

​

Contact your friend and let them know you have registered a property ID on our website. Have them verify with the state website to see if they are the RIGHTFUL owner.

​

Request them to Acknowledge the referral on our website even if they may not be the rightful owner so that others can be contacted.

To claim for yourself.

 

The same steps as above but click on claim button on the state website.

Few states let you ADD several Properties in a cart and then you can claim entries from that cart. If you put a wrong property in the cart you can REMOVE that item from the cart.

 

Enter required details as requested by the state website.

 

Each state claim process is different. They may need simple name and address and may be social security number or copies and/or driver’s license number or copies and/or more elaborate form that needs to be filled that may even be notarized. Details are available on each state website that may be different from state to state. Follow along for the state you are claiming from.

 

Once the claim has been filed and necessary documents have been either uploaded or mailed in, wait for a few weeks. Once state verifies that you are the RIGHTFUL owner, you should receive your money.

To Acknowledge a referral you have received (notification or a link) from a some one you know.

 

Click on the Referral tab on the top menu section.

 

Enter the Property ID you have received in the Search window and click search or scroll down until you find the Property ID.

 

Click on the PropertyID in the display window, that will take you to Acknowledge page.

 

Fill in the details and click Submit.

To write a Review or to Reward the person who notified you, after you recover your money.

 

Click of the Referral tab on the top menu section.

Enter the Property ID you have received in the Search window and click search or scroll down until you find the Property ID.

 

Click on the ReferredBy in the display window.

 

Fill in the details and click Submit.
